Tanger Med Port Complex has developed a centralized hazardous materials management solution to guarantee exhaustive, real-time tracking of hazardous materials presence throughout the port perimeter. This solution is interfaced with all terminals to exchange positioning and categorization information for hazardous materials. A set of rules is also parameterized to issue the necessary alarms and prevent potential risks, such as the separation of hazardous materials and storage delays.
The solution thus enhances the safety of Port operations and guarantees better protection for people and the environment.
