Smooth port transit is essential to ensure the satisfaction of Tanger Med customers. To meet this requirement, Tanger Med Port Authority has set up tools to enable all those involved to view traffic data in real time. With this in mind, a new notification module has been integrated into the Tanger Med Port Community System to notify freight operators of the various stages and actions involved in their import and export operations.
Freight forwarders and drivers can receive real-time notifications via the Tanger Med PCS mobile app, enabling them to better organize their flows and optimize transit times. Notifications include the various stages of the operation (vessel arrival, unloading, customs control, loading, ship departure, etc.), enabling operators to monitor their cargo in real time and take the necessary measures in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
This new notification module is an important addition to the Tanger Med Port Community System, which is already used by many operators to manage their port operations. It reinforces the position of Tanger Med Port Complex as a modern, connected port, capable of meeting the needs of its customers in a constantly changing environment.
