Considered as the flagship event for transport infrastructure in North, West, and Central Africa, the African Infrastructure Forum kicked off on Monday, December 12, 2022, under the theme: “Transport infrastructure: an imperative for an integrated Africa” and was attended by a host of prominent personalities and decision-makers who came to discuss key issues related to the transportation infrastructure in Africa.
With the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) as the guest of honor, this year’s event brought together more than 400 experts from the infrastructure sector.
As an official partner of the event, Tanger Med shared its expertise in the sector through its commitment to the development of structural infrastructure and its world-class port complex.
In his presentation, Mr. Hassan Abkari, Managing Director of Tanger Med Port Authority reiterated the important role that the Port Complex plays for its African partners as well as the factors of its success as the leading container port in Africa and the Mediterranean.
