Port Complex
On September 4, the port of Jorf Lasfar unloaded the first vessel carrying pipes for the project to build a pipeline to transport desalinated water from Jorf Lasfar to Khouribga, on behalf of OCP Green Water.
This first shipment of 1,343 pipes, representing a volume of 12.12 KT, was handled using slings, hooks, and spreaders adapted to this type of special package.
The forecast volume of pipes for this project is 120 KT, spread over 9 shipments, making it possible to build a pipeline of almost 200 km linking the Jorf Lasfar desalination plant to the Khouribga site.
