A state-of-art maneuvering simulator
Tanger Med Marine Simulator Center is a state-of-the-art nautical simulation and expertise center located at Tanger Med Port. Its driving force is the state-of-the-art NT PRO 5000 simulator, supplied and installed by TRANSAS, recently acquired by the Finnish company WÄRTSILÄ.
With its two independent and autonomous full-mission catwalks and its large briefing and debriefing room, equipped with overhead projectors and interactive whiteboards, the TMMS is the ideal place to conduct maneuverability tests, train leaders, study critical situations, and conduct post-sea event analysis.
In collaboration with Tanger Med Engineering (TME), the TMMS center offers 3D modeling of all ports and their infrastructures for the benefit of engineering firms and consultants wishing to conduct customized training and/or specific engineering studies.
The TMMS, in addition to its primary function of allowing the continuous training of Tanger Med pilots and the development of their skills, has become the destination of choice for pilots from African ports.
