As part of the pursuit of the digital initiatives of the Tanger Med Port Authority, a new solution has been put in place to fully digitize the weighing activity.
This new solution retrieves the weighing orders ordered by our customers via the Tanger Med Port Community System or entered by our agents in the field through the “SI FRET” system. It is also connected to the various weighbridges in the port, allowing the empty and full weights to be automatically recovered. The data collected is then transmitted in real time to the “SI FRET” system, where it can be consulted and shared with all relevant stakeholders, guaranteeing total transparency and optimum traceability of weighing operations.
This new solution represents a major qualitative leap in terms of service quality. Among the many benefits it brings, we can mention the significant reduction of human errors, the saving of valuable time for logistics operations, and the elimination of paper weighing orders, thus aligning with the sustainability strategy adopted by Tanger Med.
